Terms of Service — Billy Saves

1. Beta Service

Billy Saves is currently in Beta. This means the platform is under active development, and features, functionality, and availability may change without notice. While we work hard to provide a reliable experience, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that all features will work perfectly at all times. By using Billy Saves during the Beta period, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Billy Saves ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Description of Service

Billy Saves is a personal health data management platform that allows you to upload, store, organize, and analyze your medical records and billing documents. The Service includes AI-powered features for health record parsing, medical bill analysis, health chat, and the ability to share records with healthcare providers via secure links. You may also connect to external healthcare providers and payers through integrations.

4. Not Medical Advice

Billy Saves is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI-generated summaries, chat responses, and billing analyses are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical or financial advice. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

6. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all health records, medical bills, and personal data you upload to Billy Saves. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. You may delete your data or account at any time.

7. Sharing

The Service allows you to create share links to provide third parties (such as healthcare providers) read-only access to selected categories of your health data. You are solely responsible for deciding what to share and with whom. Share links can be revoked at any time. Once data is shared via a link, we cannot control how the recipient uses the information they accessed before revocation.

8. AI Features & Third-Party Services

Billy Saves uses third-party AI services (Anthropic's Claude API) to power features such as health record parsing, bill analysis, and chat. When you use these features, relevant data from your records may be sent to these third-party services for processing. We select providers with strong data handling practices, but you should be aware that your data is processed by these external services in order to deliver functionality.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) upload content you do not have the right to share; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (e) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service; or (f) use the Service to store data other than your own personal health and billing records.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Billy Saves shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though we will make reasonable efforts to allow you to export your data before deletion.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis.
